Adam Beach has always been one of my favorites, and not just because of Smoke Signals.

Beach is one of those actors that stays in almost every new TV project, including shows like Revolution, Hell on Wheels, Hawaii Five-O, Backstrom, and for Canadian audiences, Arctic Air. Apart from Smoke Signals, I remember him best as Det. Chester Lake from Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. I’d say that his era of SVU was probably one of the last good eras of SVU (with the final watchable era for me culminating with the end of BD Wong’s character Dr. Huang). Beach has also made his name in movies, starring in Flags of our FathersWindtalkersSquanto: A Warrior’s Tale, Mystery, Alaska, and others.

I almost want Beach to come back to SVU just so I’ll watch it again, but if I want Beach to come to any other show, I’d hope he gets a role on Sleepy Hollow. Why? Because if Fox decides to actually go ahead with a Big Ash storyline, Beach would be the perfect guy to play either Big Ash’s friend and/or brother. Then Ichabod would really have a run for his money when it came to Abbie’s attentions.

Why am I featuring these two today? Because they’re both in some big movies!

MOC Monday: Duke Kahanamoku

I’m not a surfing expert, so unfortunately, I am coming to my knowledge of Duke Kahanamoku very, very late. But thanks to Google for even alerting me to Kahanamoku and his contribution to the world...

MOC Monday: Anthony Mackie

Anthony Mackie, better known as the Falcon from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, is this week’s MOC Monday highlight!
