I used to be a big Legend of Korra watcher, but I fell off after the first season and didn’t think about returning back to it. Apparently, I missed a lot, since Korra is now with Asami, who was at one point dating-not-dating Mako. who had dated Korra. Don’t believe Korra is with Asami for real? The series’ creators have stated that Korrasami is now canon.
Korrasami is now being celebrated in full with a new print created by Korra co-creator Bryan Konietzko. The print, called Turtle -duck Date Night, shows Korra and Asami having a romantic night in a big turtle-duck boat. Take a look at the piece right here:
The piece is for Alhambra, CA’s Gallery Nucleus’ upcoming The Legend of Korra/Avatar: The Last Airbender Tribute Exhibition Konietzko wrote on his Tumblr page that 100 percent of his share of the proceeds will go towards an LGBTQ suicide prevention hotline.
